Leaseholder¹ Members sought for new Governance & Regulation Group

As an industry leader committed to governance and regulation, Peverel Property Management (PPM), of which OM Property Management Limited is a part, is creating a Governance & Regulation Group and is seeking to appoint leaseholder¹ representative members from its customers for this group.

The Group will have the responsibility of scrutinising the processes and procedures of PPM’s operational companies such as OM Property Management, so as to make recommendations and work constructively in helping improve our service to all customers.
The composition of the G&R Group will include joint Chairmen, one of whom will be totally independent of PPM and the other the PPM Head of Compliance, a highly experienced property manager and Fellow of RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). Completing the planned membership of the G&R Group will be the Managing Director of PPM and 4 leaseholder customers, of which at least half will own properties managed by OM Property Management.
We are looking for applicants for the leaseholder¹ members to serve as volunteers on the G&R Group. The selection of members would be by the independent Joint Chairperson when appointed for a period of two years.
As we believe it is likely that the position of the Joint Chairperson requires a legal background we have advertised this month in the Law Society Gazette. It is also advertised online on the Law Society Gazette and Totally Legal recruitment websites: 
It is envisaged that the Group will meet four times a year in Central London in the evening. Travelling and hotel expenses would be met. A suitable London location (near to a key mainline/tube station) will be selected.
The Independent Joint Chairperson would finalise the agenda and control the topics to be discussed. There is likely to be limited input required outside of the meeting dates.
The Group will be able to request the attendance of and to question senior managers from OM Property Management. They will also suggest agenda items for the approval of the Independent Joint Chairperson.
